The HydroShield Starters & Underlayments will keep you PROTECTED BY THE SHIELD allowing effective weatherproofing of your home with products such as shingle starters, synthetic underlayment rolls, and self-adhering underlayments. The HydroShield's Shingle Starters are very helpful for roof replacement and repairs and were designed to provide a more precise start to installing shingles. Available in three options, the HydroShield synthetic underlayments are all composed of a woven synthetic material, specially designed to add a protective layer of defense and durability to your building and are UV resistant, and can remain uncovered for up to 6 months. HydroShield Ice and Water HT Underlayment are composed of an SBS-modified asphalt membrane, that includes a skid-resistant surface that can be used on a variety of roofing substrates. The HydroShield Ice and Water underlayment is composed of high-tack rubberized asphalt and glass fiber mat which is specifically designed to provide secondary waterproofing protection to shingles as well as prevent ice damage.
